We have absolutely loved our two nights at Dasherhead Farmhouse. Our plans were to head a little further west but good friends from Dallas recommended Linda and Robin’s enchanting home as a ‘must visit’ on our travels – and we are so glad we did.
The, centuries old, farmhouse is beautifully styled with walls full of fascinating paintings, photos and prints. Our pretty bedroom was warm and cosy and the bed very comfortable. In the mornings we resisted getting up too early and just enjoyed the views from the window and reading the books in the room.
For dinner, we recommend The Gargunnock Inn and The Woodhouse at Kippen is about a 7 minute drive and a great spot for lunch and buying local produce and artisan made items.
Linda and Robin Lang really have a gem here (unlike anywhere we have been before) and we feel blessed to have stayed. We really didn’t want to leave.
